Daycare drop offs and the laws of physics

There is nothing like a bad daycare drop off to make me question my entire life and every single decision I have ever made.
Not really, but almost.

I remember when I was little and I took piano lessons; any time I messed up a song really badly, I'd just bang a bunch of piano keys and start over from the beginning. There needs to be some sort of "banging all the keys and starting over" equivalent in parenting. Maybe smash something valuable and then tell everyone, "that's it, we're going back to bed. Let's take this one from the top." {I mean, smashing something valuable would be okay because when you went back in time the valuable thing would be unsmashed, right? Isn't that how time travel works?} Seriously though, IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK, UNIVERSE? A little break from the laws of physics? GOSH!
